Custom Vinyl Pool Builders in Greenville at Aqua Blue Pools

What is a Vinyl Pool?

A vinyl pool is an in-ground pool built with a custom sheet of vinyl between the water and pool structure. This is one of our most popular pool builds around the Taylors, SC area because of how durable and low maintenance they are. Also, our clients love the many customizable shapes and design options that come with a custom vinyl pool. You can add things like tanning ledges, swim outs, spillover spas, water features, lighting, heating and automation when you choose to work with Aqua Blue Pools! With affordable maintenance costs over time, a multitude of coping choices and the ability to add fun features, it’s no wonder these concrete wall vinyl pools are our most popular pool near Simpsonville and Clemson, SC.

Building a Vinyl Pool in your Anderson, SC Backyard

When we build a custom vinyl pool, we first excavate the site. After digging the hole where your pool will be, the wall supports are assembled around the outside edge. The area inside these supports is lined with steel rebar and then filled with concrete. When the concrete dries, the supports are removed. You are left with load-bearing concrete walls that are long-lasting and durable. This is your pool edge!

The next step is to install the plumbing. This includes the pump and filter system for the pool. Once that is completed, the vinyl liner is installed, giving you that glossy, smooth finish. Now it’s time to fill up the pool and enjoy! Our expert pool technicians can walk you through the pool start-up process, helping familiarize you with how to test and adjust the water chemistry and clean the filter as needed.

General Maintenance Tips for Your Custom Vinyl Pool

While vinyl pools are easy to maintain, here are some helpful tips to keep your custom vinyl pool looking fresh for year-round use in Spartanburg, SC:

  • Gently brush the surface to remove any debris or to keep undissolved chemicals from accumulating on the liner.
  • Maintain proper water chemistry to keep your pool water in a stable pH balance.
  • Tend to the waterline, as this is where dirt and oils can build up and cause staining. Remove any leaves or debris that may fall into the pool from surrounding landscapes.
  • Keep an eye out for any leaks or cracks along the liner. Give our service department a call if you see anything out of the ordinary.
  • Never empty your vinyl pool, as this can cause the liner to shrink or crack. Our service department can come out to help if you need to drain water for any reason.
